A dapper fellow hopped straight from the moors and onto my desk, tartan ribbon and all. I loved painting this gentle, rustic hare with the soft browns, the muted greens, the feeling of a cold morning where a hare might dash past you on his way to some charming event (I like to imagine he’s off to enjoy a Christmas mince pie).
This original watercolor was painted with a soft, traditional palette, giving it that timeless, slightly muted look that watercolors are known for. Giclee prints will be made
